Komedi Sebagai Sarana Kritik Sosial (Analisis Wacana Somasi Tanggal 21 Agustus 2022 - Deddy Corbuzier Podcast)

Abstrak

Stand up Comedy is one of the entertainment facilities that are in demand by the
public. Moreover, one of the functions of stand up comedy is as a tool for
criticism. Comedy material is often used to wrap social criticism, therefore stand
up comedy is considered as a communication medium that can function as control
over the social system in social life. The purpose of this article is to find out about
social criticism and what forms of criticism are contained in the subpoena content
on August 21, 2022 on the Deddy Corbuzier Podcast. This study uses qualitative
methods based on the theory of discourse analysis from Teun aVan Dijk. In the
results of this journal it was found that there is discourse with macro,
superstructure and micro structures which include all elements namely thematic,
schematic, semantic, syntactic, stylistic and rhetorical. And it was also found that
the form of social criticism used was a form of indirect social criticism. Therefore,
in this study criticism was carried out in a stand up comedy entertainment show
and broadcast in video form
