Pengaruh Tayangan Animasi Boboiboy Terhadap Penggunaan Bahasa Melayu Murid Sdn Bangah Sidoarjo

Abstrak

Increasingly sophisticated technology in Indonesia is currently creating progress in various
fields, especially in the field of technology and information. In line with this progress, many
products have been produced, one of which is visual media, namely television. Children as
television viewers are of course the most important part to supervise in selecting shows
because children are still very vulnerable to imitating what they have seen. So it is clear that
the role of parents is very large in supervising what shows are appropriate for children to
watch, so parents must be more selective in this regard. Boboiboy animation shows are
children's cartoon shows originating from Malaysia produced by Animonsta Studios with
action, comedy, and adventure genres. This research includes explanative quantitative
research. This research approach uses a positivistic paradigm. This data collection technique
used a questionnaire which was distributed directly to 30 people as a sample of the 361
student population at SDN Bangah Sidoarjo.The results of the research analysis show that
the Boboiboy animation show has a positive and significant influence on the use of Malay by
students at Bangah Sidoarjo Elementary School. These results were seen through regression
analysis which obtained a coefficient value of 1,034 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05
and with the results of the validity test, that each instrument item (r count) in the Corrected
Item-Total Correlation column is worth greater than r table of 0.349. So that it can be said
that all the items of the research instrument used are declared valid.
