OSS SERVICE CORNER PROCESS FOR CREATING NIB ACCOUNTS AND ADDING KBLI AT DPMPTSP

Internship is an essential practical learning activity that provides students with real work experience relevant to their field of study. This study aims to describe the implementation of the internship program at the Investment and One-Stop Service Office (DPMPTSP) of Gresik Regency, conducted over 30 working days from January to March 2025. The method used is descriptive with qualitative analysis through observation, interviews, and documentation. The student was assigned to assist in data collection for service surveys via the web and provide Online Single Submission (OSS) services, such as creating Business Identification Numbers (NIB) accounts and adding Indonesia Standard Industrial Classification (KBLI). The internship results show that the student successfully applied public administration theories in practice by implementing public service principles, including simplicity of procedures, clarity of information, certainty of completion time, and accuracy of service products. Furthermore, the internship enhanced the student’s technical competencies and soft skills, while fostering professionalism and good work ethics. Services at DPMPTSP Gresik were supported by adequate facilities and friendly, responsible staff. Thus, this internship effectively prepares students to become competent public administration professionals ready to face challenges in the workforce.
