EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI E-BUDDY TERHADAP PROSES PENGELOLAAN SURAT MASUK DI SEKRETARIAT DPRD SIDOARJO

Abstract

Incoming mail management is one of the important aspects in the governance of government administration, especially in the Sidoarjo DPRD Secretariat. This study itself aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of the E-Buddy application in improving the efficiency, accuracy, and speed of the incoming mail management process at the Sidoarjo DPRD Secretariat. Previously, manual mail management has now switched to a digital system through E-Buddy. The methods used in this study were direct observation, interviews, and documentation during internship activities for employees who use the application. The results of the study showed that the use of E-Buddy had a significant positive impact on the incoming mail management process, both in terms of distribution speed, digital archiving, ease of document tracking, ease of recording, and even searching for incoming mail. Thus, E-Buddy has proven effective in supporting digital transformation in the regional bureaucratic environment. Although there are still some technical obstacles that need to be fixed. Thus, this application is quite effective in improving work efficiency and transparency of incoming mail administration at the Sidoarjo DPRD Secretariat.
