EFEKTIVITAS PROGRAM JOB FAIR DALAM UPAYA MENURUNKAN TINGKAT PENGANGGURAN TERBUKA (TPT) DI PROVINSI JAWA TIMUR (STUDI PADA DINAS TENAGA KERJA DAN TRANSMIGRASI PROVINSI JAWA TIMUR)
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the Effectiveness of the 2024 Job Fair Program by the East Java Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office in an Effort to Reduce the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in East Java Province. This job fair program is carried out offline and online. This study uses the theory of effectiveness using a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that the job fair program has been proven to be able to reduce the open unemployment rate (TPT) in East Java Province. This has been explained in the BPS of East Java Province which has decreased by 0.59% from last year, in addition, this job fair program can connect job seekers and companies and also as a forum to increase public awareness about the importance of certain skills needed by companies and in the world of work. The suggestion from this study is expected to continue running the job fair program for the following years because it has been proven to have reduced the TPT of East Java Province.
