PENGAMATAN MUDIK LEBARAN AMAN DAN TERKENDALI DI TERMINAL PURABAYA BERSAMA OMBUDSMAN RI PERWAKILAN JAWA TIMUR

Facilitating safe and controlled homecoming (mudik) is an urgent need not only at the local level but also at the global and national levels. The purpose of this community service is to realize a safe and controlled homecoming, particularly at Purabaya Terminal, as a strategic step initiated by the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia, East Java Representative, in 2024. The community service location was carried out at the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia, East Java Province, from February 19 to April 3, 2024. The research was conducted on April 4, 2024. This research is a form of qualitative community service that uses field research methods, with a phenomenological approach. Data collection was done through observation. The results of the research show that; 1) There is an information service center and officers, as well as a lactation room, and complaint information; 2) There are complete first aid kits (P3K) and emergency glass breakers; 3) There is also a health post. It can be concluded the efforts of the East Java Ombudsman 2024 at Purabaya Terminal can be considered as part of the overall strategy to realize safe, orderly, and comfortable homecoming for all travelers passing through the terminal.
