EFEKTIVITAS LAYANAN KONSELING UPTD PPA SIDOARJO DALAM PEMULIHAN TRAUMA KORBAN KEKERASAN SEKSUAL ANAK

Abstract

Sexual violence against children is a form of human rights violation that has a serious impact on the psychological and social conditions of the victims. In an effort to assist the recovery process of child victims of sexual violence, the UPTD for the Protection of Women and Children (PPA) of Sidoarjo Regency provides counseling services as a form of psychosocial intervention. This activity aims to evaluate the effectiveness of counseling services based on the indicators of organizational effectiveness according to Duncan, namely achievement of goals, integration, and adaptation. The implementation method is carried out through observation, direct involvement in counseling activities, and documentation of child development during the internship period. The results of the activity show that counseling services have a positive impact on the child's recovery process, especially in increasing emotional expression, self-confidence, and social skills. However, there are still aspects that need to be improved, such as strengthening external coordination, increasing the capacity of counselors, and optimizing counseling facilities and infrastructure. With continuous improvement, the UPTD PPA counseling service is expected to become a holistic and sustainable recovery system for child victims of sexual violence.
