PEMANFAATAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI MELALUI APLIKASI SINAR DALAM MENUNJANG PENDATAAN NAMA RUPABUMI DI KABUPATEN JOMBANG

Abstract

The use of the SINAR application (Rupabumi Name Information System) is a technological innovation applied in the data collection of earthquake names in Jombang Regency. However, the implementation of the SINAR application in the field still faces various challenges. One of the main obstacles is the lack of knowledge and understanding of the users, both from the local government apparatus and the community involved in the data collection process. This research aims to identify problems in the use of the SINAR application and formulate strategies that can increase the effectiveness of its utilization. This activity was carried out during the author's internship at the Jombang District Government Office, with implementation methods that included literature studies, application training, field observations, and analysis of problems and solutions. The results of the analysis show that intensive, structured, and sustainable socialization to related parties is a strategic step that can answer these obstacles. With regular socialization efforts, the SINAR application is expected to be used optimally to support the accuracy and validity of earthquake name data collection in Jombang Regency.
