PERAN DINAS TENAGA KERJA DAN TRANSMIGRASI DALAM PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA BAGI PENYANDANG DISABILITAS DI JAWA TIMUR

Abstract

The Manpower and Transmigration Office of East Java Province has an important role in increasing employment for people with disabilities. As part of the local government, this office implements inclusive policies that include providing skills training, opening access to job vacancies, and organizing job fairs. Collaborative efforts with the private sector and policy socialization are needed to achieve a more inclusive work environment. The research method used is a qualitative research method with data collection techniques carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data obtained from representatives of the Manpower and Transmigration Office of East Java Province for the Placement and Expansion of Employment Opportunities Sector. This study suggests increasing policy socialization and cooperation with the private sector to increase employment for people with disabilities in East Java.
