PENDAMPINGAN KEARSIPAN DATA PADA BIDANG KEUANGAN DI BADAN PENDAPATAN DAERAH PROVINSI JAWA TIMUR

Bapenda (Regional Revenue Agency) is a regional government institution responsible for managing and optimizing regional income. Bappenda's main task is to collect revenue from various sources, such as taxes, levies, etc., to finance development and management of regional government. Bapenda has an important role in regional financial management. Archives have a role as a source of authentic, complete and trustworthy information. This is why every organization or institution needs to provide dynamic archives that can meet the needs of archive users and also maintain their security. Based on the research results, several problems were identified, including: (1) there was no archive retention schedule, resulting in a buildup of archives. (2) Some archives were damaged due to lack of maintenance. This service uses a descriptive qualitative research method approach, using interview observation results and using case study research methods. A case study was conducted to analyze the effectiveness of the archives management system in the Finance Sub-Section of the East Java Provincial Bapenda. The data collected will be analyzed descriptively to identify the challenges faced and formulate appropriate strategies. Based on the results of observations that have been carried out at the East Java Provincial Bapenda, the effectiveness of Archives Management in the Finance Section of the East Java Provincial Bapenda indicates that the level of effectiveness cannot yet be called optimal.
