PEMBERDAYAAN PMKS DI LIPONSOS KEPUTIH KOTA SURABAYA

Abstract

The city of Surabaya is the center of economic activity in East Java Province and has the densest population. With the dense population in the city of Surabaya, the community receives less attention, giving rise to social welfare problems. One of the social welfare problems that occur in the city of Surabaya is the increasing number of people with social welfare problems, therefore with the presence of a government agency, namely the UPTD Environmental Pondok Social Keputih, to empower people with social welfare problems so that they can increase their potential. The aim of this research is to find out how PMKS empowerment is carried out by UPTD Liponsos Keputih Surabaya and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in empowering PMKS at UPTD Liponsos Keputih. This service uses a descriptive qualitative research method approach, with the results of observations, interviews and using case study research methods. A case study was conducted to analyze the service procedures for receiving and collecting PMKS at UPTD Liponsos.
