Abstract

This research examines the phenomenon of film "spoilers" on social media and its legal implications in the context of copyright in Indonesia. "Spoilers" refer to the dissemination of crucial information or plot details of a film without permission, which can adversely affect the viewing experience for others. The objective of this study is to identify whether film "spoilers" on social media constitute copyright infringement and to explore effective legal measures to address this issue based on the Copyright Law Number 28 of 2014.
