Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused several tourist attractions to experience a decrease in the number of visitors, if a tour company wants to survive in the midst of a pandemic, it must be able to keep the visitors who come.The role of PR here is very important in helping tourist attractions to survive and assisting in hooking or attracting future visitors by compiling a PR activity through the PR management process to get the right strategy. In this study, the author uses a PR management process to identify PR problems, planning and programming, action and communication, program evaluation and using a public relations strategy approach, namely operational strategy, PR social responsibility approach, persuasion and education approach, and cooperation approach. This study aims to determine the PR strategies used by Wisata Setigi PR practitioners in retaining visitors during the Covid-19 pandemic. In this study the data obtained was done by means of interview observations and documentation. The results of this study are Wisata Setigi PR Strategy utilizing social media and resource utilization, publishing and communicating to get the attention of potential visitors. improve the welfare of local residents, invite the villagers of Sekapuk to achieve mutual benefits. And cooperate with tour and travel parties, and with print, online and television media.
