Legal Protection; Human Rights Violations; Disability OrphanageAbstract
This research aims to explore the urgency of legal protection for victims of human rights violations in disability orphanages, with a focus on children with disabilities. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, with literature study as the main method for collecting secondary data from various sources such as books, scientific journals and related official websites. The data analysis technique follows the Miles and Huberman approach, with data reduction steps, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that legal protection for victims of human rights violations in disability orphanages is not only a legal obligation, but also an urgent moral responsibility. Concrete steps are needed such as strengthening regulations, awareness training, involvement of NGOs, and implementation of international conventions to ensure that those who are victims of human rights violations receive proper protection. These efforts not only provide benefits to individual victims, but also strengthen the foundations of humanity and justice in society as a whole. By maintaining and strengthening this legal protection system, we can ensure that every individual, including people with disabilities, has equal access to justice and protection under the law.
