Abstract

Discrimination is a person or group of people who injure the victim because of a deficiency in the victim. Racism discrimination in America has been around for a long time. This discrimination arises from race, skin color, to religious communities. Race discrimination of skin color originates from African Americans. Although initially African-American civil rights had provided a prohibition on racial discrimination from the 1965 multilateral treaty. Meanwhile, discrimination occurred among religious communities, especially Muslims, where at that time women were not allowed to wear the hijab and there was no obligation to work. Until the emergence of Islamophobia in America. The methodology used is descriptive descriptive which describes the origin of racism but also describes the relationship between law and human rights through international conventions.
