Prisoners with Disabilities are those who are sentenced to imprisonment so that the loss of independence in correctional institutions results in the loss of independence due to physical, mental, or sensory disabilities. Prisons as authorized institutions are obliged to provide guidance and services to prisoners, including prisoners who have limitations or disabilities and also the fulfillment of their rights, because people with disabilities are included in a vulnerable group, vulnerable groups are groups of people who cannot prepare themselves for high risk threats, especially in terms of health so that discriminatory actions against prisoners with disabilities do not occur. Discrimination against prisoners with medical conditions Prisoners with Disabilities, as defined by the Correctional Law no. 12 of 1995 and the Law on Disabilities No. 8 of 2016. When correctional institutions provide treatment, rehabilitation centers, wheelchair access in cell corridors, assistance for inmates with disabilities, medical personnel who have special expertise in the fields experienced by prisoners, physical disabilities, disabilities, and disabilities during detention. Collaboration with national and local government agencies for health services and community facilities related to disability can help overcome all these challenges.
