PERLINDUNGAN ANAK-ANAK DAN ORANG MUDA DARI EKSPLOITASI

Abstract

The research from this article analyzes the protection of children and young people from exploitation, cases of exploitation of children are increasingly widespread and cause concern and concern for many parties. The purpose of the research in this article is to find out how to protect children and young people from exploitation in ILO convention No. 138 and ILO convention No. 182. 20 of 1999 and the ILO Convention No. 182 regulates the Prohibition and Immediate Action for the Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labor with Law no. 1 of 2000. This study used a qualitative descriptive research method. The causes of exploitation are low parental education causing them to have limitations in getting job opportunities, there are about 26-47% who experience these things, economic limitations in the family or poverty, and lack of family understanding of the importance of education for the child's future and the existence of an assumption that children are the family's economic asset as well as the opportunity to work or child labor to help earn a living for their family, the failure of the education system in Indonesia. The government in dealing with acts of exploitation of children, traces or regularly monitors and checks in places that are likely to be places where children work and is carried out in a coordinated and appropriate manner, disciplines and raids acts of exploitation of children.
