Abstract

With many Indonesian citizens who want to find work in order to be sufficient or meet their daily needs but they do not get a job in their own country, so that citizens flock to find work in their country or abroad that is in accordance with the skills and wages targeted. with the hope that they can be accepted so that they are called Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI). This study aims to provide legal certainty for the various rights of Indonesian migrant workers who have worked abroad by giving them and their families their rights. By providing legal certainty for the rights of migrant workers and their families, migrant workers and their families do not have to worry about working in their own country or abroad. Legal certainty on the rights of migrant workers and their families is regulated in Law Number 18 of 2017 concerning the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers and the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and All Members of Their Families which have been adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN). ) which took effect on March 1, 2003.
