The right to freedom of religion is one of the rights that cannot be reduced. Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, this right includes freedom to adopt and accept a religion and belief of his choice, and freedom either individually or in community with others, whether in public or private. In Indonesia, religious freedom is still one of the most controversial issues. The controversy is said to be related to whether the state should recognize some religions and not recognize others. The debate arose in the public about how the state's attitude towards citizens who actually had a religion outside the recognized religion was. The conflict occurred because the Indonesian state only recognized six religions, namely Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Confucianism. Therefore, the law has violated the basic rights of citizens in freedom of religion and therefore must be declared unconstitutional. Responding to the above problem, how is the answer to human rights law?
