Abstract

Children are the next generation of the nation. Children are people who still need to be protected and their rights are weak. In Indonesia, various types of laws and regulations have been enacted and even developed to regulate everything about children. It contains how to fulfill children's rights and even how to protect them. However, this is because in reality there is a lot of violence against children. Moreover, the violence comes from the home environment, which is carried out by their own parents. In fact, in an effort to fulfill children's rights and protect them, it is not only parents who are responsible for their own children. However, apart from that, many parties are responsible for the protection of children's growth and development, namely from extended families, schools, communities, all stakeholders or interests, even to the state. Parents who are the first place or the first institution for children should be able to look after, supervise, protect, protect with affection. Not just acts of violence against children. Of course, this problem must be considered through the eyes of the law so that parents are more aware and wise. Everything that is done by parents must be based on good things or reasons for the benefit of the child himself.
