Analisis Resepsi Pesan Moral dalam Web Series Layangan Putus pada Mahasiswa Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya

Abstract

This research is motivated by the popularity of the web series “Layangan Putus”, which aired
on WeTV in November 2021 and RCTI in February 2022. The aim of this research is to increase
the understanding of the students of the University of 17 August 1945 about infidelity and to
increase their understanding of the characteristics of cheating spouses and the causes of
infidelity that can occur through the web series “Layangan Putus”.This study uses a qualitative
method with information retrieval techniques and in-depth interviews with resource people
who have been selected by researchers at the University of August 17th, 1945, Surabaya.
Triangulation is used to check data from various sources with several data collection
techniques at different times. Source triangulation is a method used to re-compare the degree
of confidence in the information that has been obtained from different sources. The results of
this study are the Disconnected Kites web series can add to the understanding of the infidelity
committed by the couple to the students of the 17 August 1945 University in Surabaya. This is
because the story is quite relevant to what is happening in society and the roles of the actors
and actresses are very good at playing the characters in the web series.
