Analisis Tekstual Bentuk Kekerasan dalam Film “A Perfect Fit”

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of violence contained in the film "A Perfect Fit". This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach using the textual analysis method of Alan McKee.
Researchers analyzed scenes and dialogues containing violent content according to Weiner, Zahn and Sagi. The results of this study indicate that the forms of violence contained in the film
"A Perfect Fit" include verbal violence, non-verbal violence, sexual violence and functional violence. These forms of violence are found in the following scenes: 1) Verbal violence/psychological violence in the form of yelling, cursing and insulting, demeaning other people's self-esteem, and speaking harshly to others. 2) Sexual violence in the form of harassing others. 3) Functional violence in the form of dominating.
