Abstract

Mobile banking is a manifestation of Bank Jatim's strategy and commitment in providing digital services to the public in order to make it easier for people to make transactions. The development of the digital era resulted in the high number of digital transactions in Indonesia which resulted in competition between banks to provide the best service to the community. In this case, public relations as a communication facilitator who can help management as a communicator and mediator so that the public listens to what management wants and the organization must run well. Public Relations of Bank Jatim is tasked with establishing good relations with groups, communities and individuals while increasing brand awareness. Seeing the importance of the function of public relations as a communication facilitator makes it interesting to study. This research method uses a qualitative approach and type of case study research. The results of the research show that the function of the PR communication facilitator of Bank Jatim applies four steps of PR strategy in JConnect socialization, namely defining problems, planning and programming, taking action, and evaluating programs.
