ANALISIS NARATIF PADA FILM BLACK PANTHER

Abstract

Film is a communication medium that was born later than the print media. The Black Panther film aired in 2018 was the first superhero or super hero-themed film to be played by a black person. This study aims to determine the description of the character function in the Black Panther film according to Vladimir Propp's theory and to find out the depiction of the opposite opposition character in the Black Panther film according to Vladimir Propp's theory. Narrative Research on the Black Panther film aims to determine the description of the character function in the Black Panther film according to Vladimir Propp's theory and to find out the depiction of the opposite opposition character in the Black Panther film according to Vladimir Propp's theory. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with the type of research used is narrative analysis. Sources of data taken in this study are secondary data sources and data collection used is by observation with qualitative description analysis techniques. The results obtained in this study are the depiction of opposite characters in the Black Panther film such as Villain, Donor, Helper, The Princess and Her Father, The Dispatcher, The Hero, and The False Hero.
