Abstract

The phenomenon of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) is a thing that is widely
discussed among people today. This study aims to determine the results of the analysis of
bisexual narratives using the approach of David Bordwell in the bohemian rhapsody film. The
data collection techniques in this research are observation, documentation and online data
searching. Based on the research findings, the bohemian rhapsody film has four indicators of
moral messages, namely having ambition is not wrong, popularity can change lifestyle and
identity, trusting friends who always provide support and love, turning dreams into good things
for others. . The bohemian rhapsody film as a whole is the story of a legendary singer Freddie
Mercury who has a good popularity and falls because of his negative behaviors such as
alcoholism, drugs and sexually transmitted diseases. And The narrative ends with an attempt
to describe the characters, settings, situations, other elements, the way the story relates (plot
and story, space and time), the structure of the story (opening, climax and closing).
