Analisis Framing Pemberitaan Kaburnya Selebgram Rachel Vennya dari Karantina di Media Online Detikcom dan Kumparancom

Abstract

Currently, online media is developing very rapidly. This is evidenced by the speed it produces, namely creating and displaying issues or events that are developing in society. One of the issues currently developing is the issue of Rachelven's celebgram escaping from quarantine. Each media is different in packaging the issue, this is influenced by ideology and media owners as seen from the news framing done to the media. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the framing used by detikcom and kumparancom in reporting the escape of Rachelven's celebrity from quarantine. This research uses the constructivism paradigm with a qualitative approach. By using the Robert N. Entman model framing analysis method which focuses on four Entman framing devices, namely: define problems, diagnose causes, make moral judgment and treatment recommendation. By using two theories, namely framing analysis and reality construction on mass media. While the selected online media are detikcom and kumparancom media.The results of this study indicate that the news framing of Rachelven's celebgram's escape from quarantine carried out on online media detikcom and kumparancom is affected by ideological differences, where both of them use their respective ideologies in conveying news of Rachelven running away from quarantine.
