ANALISIS NARATIF PEMBELA HAK ASASI MANUSIA PADA FILM ONE NIGHT IN MIAMI

Abstract

Racism is a topic that is widely discussed today. Especially in America, the theme of the issue of race is a regular in the film. This study aims to determine the results of the narrative analysis of equality of rights using the approach of Vladimir Propp in the film One Night in Miami. The theory of approach uses the analysis of the Narrative Structure of Vladimir Propp and uses the theory of Truth Coherence with One Night in Miami as the object of research. Data collection techniques in research are Observation and Documentation. The validity of the data consists of persistence of observations and triangulation of sources. Based on the Narrative Structure of Vladimir Propp, there are 6 functions in One Night in Miami. The narration is given symbols and a description of the function in each scene piece by being connected using the Coherence Truth theory to describe the polemical situation in the film.
