Pengaruh Rasio Profitabilitas Terhadap Pertumbuhan Laba Pada PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia, Tbk.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the ratio of profitability to profit growth in PT. PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia, Tbk during the period 2017 – 2021.  The independent variables used to measure profitability ratios are Net Profit Margin (NPM), Gross Profit Margin (GPM), and Return On Assets (ROA). The dependent variable used is profit growth. The data in this study is secondary data derived from quarterly financial statements that have been prepared by PT. PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia, Tbk in 2017 – 2021. The data analysis techniques used are classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the Net Profit Margin (NPM) variable had a negative and significant effect on profit growth with a calculated t value of -2.578 with a significant level of 0.022 which means less than 0.05, Gross Profit Margin (GPM) had a positive and significant effect on profit growth with a calculated t value of 2.153 with a significant value level of 0.049 which means less than 0.05 and Return On Assets (ROA) had a positive and significant effect on profit growth with a calculated t value of 2.153 with a significant value level of 0.049 which means less than 0.05 and Return On Assets (ROA) had a positive and significant effect on  profit growth with a calculated value of 4.528 with a significant value level of 0.000 which means less than 0.05.
