Peran Pos Pelayanan Terpadu Lanjut Usia Untuk Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan Sosial (Studi Kasus Di Posyandu Lansia Sekar Melati Kelurahan Baratajaya Kota Surabaya)

Abstract

The Elderly Integrated Service Post is a health facility for the elderly that seeks to improve public health, especially the elderly, in order to improve the standard of living by improving the social and physical welfare of the elderly. Posyandu as an empowerment for the elderly. Basic health services can be provided to the elderly through Posyandu, especially those that are preventive (disease prevention) and promotive (health improvement) for the elderly. With the Posyandu for the Elderly, it is hoped that the quality of life of the elderly can improve and the threat of disease severity will decrease. The type of research used is qualitative research. The data obtained are the results of observations and interviews from posyandu cadres and the elderly. This study was to determine the role of the Posyandu for the Elderly in improving Social Welfare. The author took the research location at the Sekar Melati Elderly Posyandu, Baratajaya Village, Surabaya City. The address is Jalan Ngagel Wasana 1 No 41, Baratajaya Village, Gubeng District, Surabaya City. Results Based on research conducted, the elderly have many health problems and really need more health services than young people. Health services for the elderly are accommodated through the elderly posyandu, where the elderly posyandu can help empower the elderly to achieve prosperity.
