Abstract

The presence of Covid-19 spread in Indonesia caused all activities to be disrupted. Government always urge people to always live healthy, use masks, keep their distance and wash their hands to break the chain of the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Public service is one aspect that is disrupted, not only from the private sector but also from the government sector. Therefore, Local Tax Service Agency (BPPD) Sidoarjo regency implement technology-based service innovation that is e-SPTPD (Electronic Notification Of Local Taxes) which is one of the innovations of other local taxes (PDL) in the form of web-based applications. This study aims to describe whether e-SPTPD innovation can improve administrative efficiency during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is qualitative descriptive using data collection methods in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. The results of this study show that this e-SPTPD innovation has managed to improve administrative efficiency during the pandemic, because so far 90% of taxpayers (WP) in sidoarjo regency have used the innovation although there are still some who still stutter technology so that they still go to the tax office to ask for help from officers to access e-SPTPD
