Analisis Dalam Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Miskin (Studi Kasus Kampung Jambangan Kelurahan Jambangan Kota Surabaya)

Abstract

In poverty reduction the role of government is very important in designing and making policies. Jambangan Village plays an important role in advancing the community's economic system, especially in empowering the poor resident in Jambangan Village. Efforts to empower poverty are essential in building good economic growth. The focus of this research consists of: proposals, data collection, surveys, providing assistance. The results of the study based on these four indicators indicate that the role of Jambangan village in proposing, collecting data, and surveys can be said have done properly in empowering the poor resident. Meanwhile, the indicators for the provision of assistance in the Jambangan village can be said to be lacking because in the research the authors found the poor resident who had not received assistance. In the research, the obstacles were not evenly distributed in the provision of assistance because the resident of Jambangan Village were adequate but did not want to be said to be adequate. It can be concluded that the role of Jambangan Village in empowering the poor resident based on indicators can be said to have been running quite well.
