IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN REHABILITASI SOSIAL PENYANDANG DISABILITAS DI LINGKUNGAN KABUPATEN SIDOARJO

Abstract

The existence of this disability denier is still lacking about the attention of the community because it is often seen as contemptuous or underestimated so that his shortcomings in this area often get discrimination or bullying. On the other hand, these people with disabilities also need to make ends meet. This researcher uses a qualitative method, this researcher uses various techniques, namely data collection in the form of conducting interviews to obtain various clear and accurate information regarding the existing focus of society. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the Social Service Office in the Implementation of the Social Rehabilitation Policy for Persons with Disabilities in Sidoarjo Regency. The conclusion obtained from this study is the distribution of the social rehabilitation program of the Sidoarjo Regency Social Service in fulfilling the rights of persons with disabilities with facilities and also benefits to the community with severe disabilities in order to create people with disabilities who are blind and able to live like society in general.
