Abstract

To determine the performance of village officials in providing public services. To find out the supporting factors and obstacles to the performance of the Gedangan Village apparatus. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection is done by conducting interviews, observation and documentation. The object of this research is the government of Gedangan Village, Sidayu District, Gresik Regency. East Java The results of this analysis of the performance of village officials in providing public services in the Gedangan village government in providing services to the community, in providing services to the community have been carried out well. However, there were also obstacles related to the lack of education to the public regarding the requirements in managing administration, as well as the lack of awareness of the working hours that have been given.
