Pengaruh Penggunaan Facebook terhadap Perilaku Murid Kelas VIII SMP Sunan Giri Menganti-Gresik

Abstract

Behavior reflects how a person feels about something. Personality is the way individuals react
and interact with other people. The development of the current use of Facebook is also
spreading among children. As we know Facebook has become a part of the lives of today's
children. Global social media that can interfere with stimulus development in children,
especially students at SMP Sunan Giri Menganti-Gresik. This is the background to find out the
influence of Facebook Social media on the behavior of Class VIII Sunan Giri Junior High
School students anti-Gresik. This study aims to prove the effect of the use of social media
Facebook on the behavior of the students of SMP Sunan Giri Menganti-Gresik. The method
used is a quantitative correlational research method to examine certain populations or
samples. Collecting data using research instruments, data analysis is quantitative/statistical
with the aim of testing the established hypothesis. Data collection in this study was carried out
with a questionnaire and then processed using SPSS. Observation results taken based on data
in class VIII of Smp Sunan Giri Menganti-Gresik, That the influence of Facebook Social Media
has a significant influence on student behavior.
