PERAN PANCASILA DALAM HUKUM INTERNASIONAL

Abstract

Pancasila is recognized as a source of legal values that regulate social order and government in Indonesia. The values contained in Pancasila, such as social justice and democracy led by wisdom in deliberation/representation, provide guidance for Indonesia in interacting on the international stage. The role of Pancasila in international law also influences the construction of international law, especially in terms of the formation of internationalagreements and bilateral or multilateral cooperation. Indonesia often emphasizes the importance of Pancasila values in international cooperation,including on issues such as human rights, peace and security, ideology and globalization. In diplomatic practice, Pancasila is the basis for Indonesian diplomats to promote and defend national interests, while upholding universal values embraced by the international community. This reflects howPancasila can be integrated into international legal norms and practices
