Abstract

Internship activities carried out at PT. PLN (PERSERO) UP3 SOUTH SURABAYA ULP RUNGKUT SURABAYA certainly provides experience and knowledge as well as deep support Company operational activities. Internship activities are carried out for 40 days and are focused on the field General Services and Administration. In this activity, interns can gain knowledge relevant new. This research methodology includes direct observation, interviews with employees, active participation in company operational activities. The research results showed that the intern participants gain a better understanding of general administrative processes, the importance of communication effectiveness, work ethic, and teamwork in a professional environment. Apart from that, participants also get practical skills in archive management and data input. Conclusions from this research emphasized that the independent internship program provides significant benefits in preparing students to enter the world of work with more confidence and competence. Advice given includes increased guidance and direction from mentors, as well as providing more opportunities for challenging tasks to increase apprentice productivity
